Shazam is an iPhone application that allows you to instantly receive the information on a specific song. The user listening to a song that he/she does not know the name of would put on Shazam, and within a matter of seconds, the name and artist of the song will pop up on the screen. It will give you options of purchasing that song and it will also save that song into your history for later. People use Shazam to build up a playlist of heard songs so that they can go home and download the list before them. Shazam also allows each song in your history to have a 30 second preview allowing you to review your song if you had forgotten it. In my opinion Shazam is a great iPhone app, it has come in handy for me and downloading song I am not sure the names of. I will say Shazam does not know every single song in the world as song artist are a lot more underground than others but its doing a good enough job to identify a large amount of songs, and I believe their only going to update more and more into it. I rate Shazam a 4 out of 5 stars.
